Steve’s learning style, to learn on the move, paid great dividends now. Steve was part of a much larger group of trainers that constantly shared knowledge and best practise. Although this might have been a backward move, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Steve had to find freelance work from several bigger more established training companies. The jump from the military in to civilian life was a bit of a culture shock for both new owners. IT’s Easy Training was set up in 1998 by Steve and another colleague after leaving the forces. This technique has allowed Steve to stay current and focussed on new technological trends, such as the deployment and migration of Microsoft Office 365, which is quickly becoming the must have Office tool. It has always been Steve’s goal to learn on the move, incorporating new skills in to his own courses as they are discovered. A two-year stint at a military training depot provided an excellent platform for Steve to develop as a trainer and engage in new methodologies. Steve started out his training career in the Armed Forces, building a vast amount of experience in the delivery and design of courses. Microsoft Project and Visio are additional courses that are very popular sessions. Stephen has been delivering computer-based courses for over twenty years, focussing on the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
